Goddess Mahalakshmi, the divine consort of Lord Vishnu, is believed to be the one who bestows wealth and prosperity.  She is worshipped as the Mother of all earthly beings.  One of the shlokas that described here divine grace and benevolence is the Mahalakshmi Ashtakam.  Believed to have been composed by Indira, the King of the Devas, the Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is a set of eight (8) verses that hail the power, virtues and beauty of Goddess Mahalakshmi.  Be reciting the verses, we seek the blessings of the Goddess and praise here as the one who grants all boons and destroys suffering.
